Week 2: The Asterisk

Mr. Asterisk is like a superhero, swooping in when trouble comes. Always in time at the scene of the crime, he corrects errors when they arise. When a word is mispelled, mistyped or misaddressed and then sent, the asterisk sign emerges as the chance to right what’s wrong.
It is as simple as one mistake…
Can you imagine?
How a simple mistake can ruin relationships?
How a simple failure can make your lifetime a nightmare.
Just ONE simple mistake could dictate your lifetime.
Good thing there’s the asterisk. To someone who just fouled up, this little star becomes the superstar. It represents another chance to make things right — The sign for a possible rise after a fall. When a mistake could have led to gloom and doom, the asterisk comes as the error-doctor.
Imagine if there’s no asterisk in the chat room? We don’t have a chance to rectify all the things we have mispelled or misrepresent.
The asterisk is like the grace of God. It corrects the wrong. It cleans up the soul.

“Grace, then, is grace,–that is to say, it is sovereign, it is free, it is sure, it is unconditional, and it is everlasting.” ~ Alexander Whyte

For,

“For God so loved the world, he gave His own begotten Son. For whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his Faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” -Lamentations 3:22-24

That’s GRACE! Don’t waste God’s gift of grace by regretting what you have done wrong. Because what is done is done. Now, time to live in faith and forget the past! Remember, God has already asterisked your sins! 🙂

–This is the second leg of my 52 weeks faith-building challenge! Thanks to Ru dela Torre! 🙂
