Open Heart

06-03-13

I talked to God this morning. Out of the blue, I said to Him, “God when will you give me the right one?” And He said, “Open up your heart.” I said, “God, they never asked me anything.” “Are you sure that you already opened up your heart?” And I was speechless. Boom! I tried to reason out but I can’t because… it’s true… I never fully open up my heart.

For me, it is hard to be open because being open means being fragile, weak. My 21 years of existence, I already built walls around me to keep away people from hurting me. Up to now, I am still struggling to be open, but I know God is working! Image

“The wall you build to hinder pain is the same wall that hinders happiness”

  1. wondering whether you were asking God for a future husband or someone else. haha

anyway. When I read your blog, it was impressed to me that God was telling you to open up your heart not just to a certain guy or suitors but probably to friends…to godly people who can guide you. tell me, how many believers of Christ do you know and how many of your friends help you grow closer in your relationship with God. Open up your heart to people who will draw you to God more.
